The Visual Art program goal is for all students to improve and grow as artists through a program that encourages, enlightens, and challenges.
Through extended studio experiences with art forms during each year, students have the opportunity to become proficient with a variety of media.
In core classes, two quarters will be devoted to an art form:
Level 1 - Painting
Level 2 - Sculpture
Level 3 - Printmaking/Mixed Media

Lets practice techniquesSketchbooks
Sketchbooks aren't just for drawing assignments. Sketchbooks can be a visual journal for practice, plans, and ideas for more studio work.
|
Lets be responsibleHigh expectations
I am a firm believer in the fact that students live up to expectations. If you believe you can, you can! It might take multiple attempts, but that's ok. We learn from mistakes.
